SCREAM STREAM: Elegant Yokai Apartment Life: A Spooky Slice of Life

Yushi Inaba life has taken a complete turn when he finds out that his new apartment is filled with many creatures from lore. He doesn’t know who to handle this as his day-to-day life is filled with the stories and the adventures they take. He finds that his everyday life is taking a turn when he finds out that the yokai and ghost have lives that are just like his own. Each day he takes a moment to get to know the people that live there and start to slowly form a friendship with them. While at first things took a turn for him when he starts to see them as nothing but beings that could kill him. He starts to become surprised by the life that they lead and what they can do as well.

While Yushi wants to keep the ghost and yokai safe from the outside world, he knows that he cannot keep this secret from his best friend, Mizuki Hase. And when he finally knows what is going on, he can’t help but rather be in the apartment with Yushi then at his own home. The yokai and ghost would rather have him there too as they all start to bond together. Akine Kuga is a resident in the apartment as well, and not only just a high schooler but an exorcist at a night hospital that she has been apprenticing in. Their life in school and the life at the apartment seem to clash at times as they find that beings from the other world tend to mingle or appear before them.

The stories that Yushi finds out about each of his neighbors, and how tragic their past can be, but the light they show as they move forward. The life they have lived under the guise of just being ordinary humans. These small adventures that Yushi takes with them, and trying to understand the world that they live in. The bond that he is creating with them with each day that passes as he considers them as more as family now.
