DC x Sonic the Hedgehog: Metal Legion continues the larger cross-brand partnership between DC and SEGA of America, which spans comic books, apparel, collectibles, toys, and more.
The collaboration kicked off with the 2025 comic book series and expanded across consumer products throughout the year, now available at Target, Walmart, and more, with additional initiatives planned for 2026 and beyond.

Written by fan-favorite Sonic scribe Ian Flynn and illustrated by returning artist Adam Bryce Thomas, DC x Sonic the Hedgehog: Metal Legion reunites the creative team that helped make the first crossover a smash hit with fans, retailers, and readers of all ages.
In the press release announcing the new collaboration, long time Sonic scribe Ian Flynn said:
“I had an absolute blast the last time around, and I’m really happy that little tease we left at the end of the first crossover is finally coming to fruition. I hope everyone enjoys this second go around as much as I did writing it!”
