One of the most anticipated cinematic events of the year is the rerelease of Avengers: Endgame in movie theatres worldwide on September 25th. It is widely expected to have one new scene near the end leading to Avengers: Doomsday, coming in December. There are also expectations for a post credit scene, since Endgame is one of the only Marvel films to not have a post or mid credit scene.
AMC lists the release as 3 hours and 5 minutes, while the 2019 version had 3 hours and 1 minute — while 4 minutes does not seem much, the Russo brothers surely made it count. The rerelease is Marvel Studio’s first time including new footage filmed after the film had its theatrical debut. However, the sole opportunity to experience the Avengers assembling in a crowded movie theatre is already more than enough to draw Marvel fans to theatres.
Comic Watch must also advise you to buy tickets for Infinity Vision showtimes — these are reportedly the only ones that will feature one of the extra scenes that tie directly into Avengers: Doomsday.
Tickets are expected to go on sale tomorrow, Tuesday, August 25th, and a new trailer promoting Infinity Vision is also rumoured to be released. If Marvel follows the schedule of the Avengers: Doomsday trailer and sale, you should be able to book seats at 9am EDT.
