Summit Comics is bringing GRYMSTONE: SOIL & ASH to Kickstarter, a five-part surreal folk-horror series written, colored, and lettered by Scott Alan Gregory, with art by Thiago Motta and variant covers from Pete Collins, Juan Angel, and Damian Connelly (You Promised Me Darkness). The project earned Gregory a contract as the winner of the 2025 Summit Comics Writer Talent Search and now marks the publisher’s first villain-centered series.
A seven-inch-tall ’80s action figure possessed by the ancient spirit of a wicked woodland entity binds three troubled families across three different eras. As GrymStone’s influence takes shape, a Chicago man seeks help for his brother, who believes the talking action figure hidden in his basement is compelling him to commit violent acts.
GrymStone: Soil & Ash draws from the unsettling atmosphere of ’90s Vertigo horror to explore mental illness, inherited damage, and the evil that takes root beneath it all through the surreal, dangerous, and tragicomic storytelling that defined the era’s alternative comics landscape.

Morgana Pendragon #1-4 (A Medieval Fantasy)
After twenty years, Morgana returns to England to find King Arthur dying and England invaded by a sorceress of enormous power.
These issues continue the story of Morgana Pendragon, who having lost her magic when she fled England twenty years ago, leads a mercenary team wherever the best paycheck is. All that changes when she receives a message to return—her brother, King Arthur, is dying. The meeting with Arthur is tense, but nothing can really prepare her for the reunion with her openly hostile son, Mordred.
This campaign is to print issues three and four to complete our four issue mini-series, Morgana Pendragon. Each story will be 27 and 30 pages, respectively, in a 32/36 page saddle-stitched book with a trade paperback grade cover and interior pages.

Disguised as a romance, THE MUSE is an intimate body horror comic about beauty, identity, and the relationship between artists and their work.
In the AI-dominated world of 2084, washed-up painter Solomon Boone hasn’t completed a worthwhile canvas in years. Enter Muse: a gorgeous, biomechanical woman who simply walks into his apartment and
plants a kiss on his love-starved lips, claiming to be the “inspiration” he’s been searching for.
Muse transforms Solomon’s shabby apartment into a home, his failing career into a sensation, and his empty life into something worth waking up for. However, each burst of inspiration requires Solomon to part with a piece of himself: a lock of hair. A finger. His body altogether.
The more Solomon paints, the less of him remains.
Equal parts David Cronenberg, Katsuhiro Otomo, and Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray, THE MUSE explores the seductive yet toxic relationship between artists and their work.

DREGS! – QUARTERLY SF & FANTASY COMIC BOOK MAGAZINE
A new quarterly indie SciFi/Fantasy comics magazine (100+ pages, ongoing)
DREGS! is a quarterly, heavy fantasy and Science Fiction magazine (in color & BW, 8.5″x 11″) with over 100 Pages of international indie comics inspired by ancestors such as Mome, Relax, Garo and Métal Hurlant.
We have short stories and ongoing stories spanning multiple issues. We are also an intellectual magazine with a small number of articles and interviews on the medium!
This is a pre-sale to help us jump-start the adventure and have a long tenure in your local comic book store.
Each creator’s story will average 6 to 10 pages.
This project will be sent to the printer by the third week of October 2026 and will be available to you before Christmas.
This Kickstarter is the launch phase for the magazine, but going forward, DREGS! will be distributed through the regular comics and book trade. We will be doing distribution through Uncivilized Books’ existing distribution network.
The goal is for DREGS! to become a quarterly magazine that readers can discover and purchase through their regular comic shops and bookstores, rather than relying on Kickstarter for every issue.

After his first appearances in our Sneak Peak and Pinnacle Origins, it is time to delve deep into his past within his first official issue!
Mission Briefing
Jackson Nacht was once the sidekick to the US Military’s super soldier, Major Victorious (who is also his uncle John). However, due to a combination of the serum taken to save his life and the onset of puberty, Jackson became emotionally and mentally unstable. Fired from his position, he has since become V.I.G.I.L.E.’s premier “troubleshooter” on their payroll, sent on missions of great import that others don’t want to sully their hands with.
In his last appearance, Vesper saved a Ukrainian teenager who was experimented on by the devious Doctor Zombie to make a new kind of super soldier. In the aftermath of that, Matron, head of V.I.G.I.L.E., has Vesper begin investigating those who might be connected….
In addition to our main tale, we have the first of three 8 page shorts delving into Vesper’s origin story with art by David Hutajulu and colors by series colorist Henry Lopez.
Altogether, you’ll get 28 pages of action packed adventure!
