SCREAM STREAM: Another: Enter the Spooky Month With A Classic

Another is one of my favorite horror anime’s to watch, maybe the very few that I do enjoy watching. While I never venture far from my very happy anime list, Another, has the tendency to pull you into its dark world. The twist and turns this anime gives off with each episode, you never suspect the gore that will come out. From the fear of umbrellas to being on a beach trying to enjoy yourself only to find blood in the water. Another dives into the mind, torturing you into thinking that you may know whats going on but in reality, it is just getting started with you. Teachers losing their minds, and girls falling down the stairs only to die horribly. If you enjoy the gore of it all, Another is an anime to watch, I would suggest not skipping out on this one even if you aren’t a horror fan.

K?ichi Sakakibara is transferring into this classroom, and he is in for a ride when he starts to notice that things aren’t what they seem in the classroom filled with happy students. A looming darkness seems to fall over them, and tension rises within the classroom with each passing day. It isn’t until later that Sakakibara starts to connect the dots on what is really going on. Mei Misaki is a mysteries girl that wears an eye patch, quiet and reserved she is ignored by the students and the teachers in the classroom. But when Sakakibara takes a step towards talking to her, not only is he warned by the other students but Misaki herself tells him to stop trying to break the rule.

What exactly is the rule? To ignore one student throughout the school year, to make sure that no one interacts with them or talks to them. When Sakakibara starts to ignore this rule and break it every change he gets, things start to get a bit bloody in the classroom when the first thing to happen is the teacher stabbing himself multiple times in front of his students. And from there, a spiral of deaths from the students and students relatives start to twist into the screen. These deaths aren’t what you expect, and with each episode you take, you will be gasping at your tv from the mere shock of what just happened. While the scenes can be hard to watch the end reveal of what is actually happening at the school is the best to see. No spoilers here, but that was a twist even I didn’t except.
