This week has been a thrill as we all saw the launch of Artemis II, and now they are all returning home on Friday, April 10th. So, why not watch some amazing space anime that will have you laughing and on the edge of your seat!
1.Space Pirate Captain Harlock

- Synopsis: In the year 2977 AD, humanity has achieved a vast starfaring civilization, but is succumbing to ennui, often due to defeat and subjugation by a foreign invader. Rising against the general apathy, Harlock denies defeat and leads an outlaw crew aboard his starship Arcadia to undertake daring raids against Earth’s oppressors. Their primary oppressors are the Mazone, a race of organic plant-based alien women who explored Earth in the mythic past and are now back to reclaim it.

Nineteen years later, in the year 2025, Hibito has become a fully fledged JAXA astronaut assigned to go on a mission to the moon. Mutta, on the other hand, has not been so successful in achieving his dreams. As Mutta eventually recalls his past ambitions, he receives a letter stating that he has been accepted into a JAXA training program for new astronauts. The series follows Mutta as he seeks to become an astronaut and achieve his longtime dream just like his brother did.
4. Cowboy Bebop

- Synopsis: In the year 2071, roughly fifty years after an accident with a hyperspace gateway that made Earth almost uninhabitable, humanity has colonized most of the rocky planets and moons of the Solar System. Amid a rising crime rate, the Inter Solar System Police (ISSP) established a legalized contract system in which registered bounty hunters (also known as “Cowboys”) pursue criminals and bring them in alive in return for a reward. The story follows the crew on a ship called Bebop, five (yes, I’m counting Ein, fight me) crew members, and their antics and stories of their bounties.
