Red Sonja & Vampirella Meet Betty & Veronica #10 : Hot Summer Drakulon

Comic Book Reviews, Dynamite EntertainmentBy Duna HallerMarch 30, 2020

Red Sonja & Vampirella Meet Betty & Veronica #10

Red Sonja & Vampirella Meet Betty & Veronica #10 (Chu, Sanapo, Mohan) is an effective hot-summer-desert mood issue, but also a slow and storybuilding lacking one. The art really helps get in the mood of Drakulon, and it leaves us hoping for more as we move forward.

KISS: Zombies #4: Get Me Out of this Rock ‘n’ Roll Hell!

Comic Book Reviews, Dynamite EntertainmentBy Mike EakinsMarch 17, 2020

KISS: Zombies #4

KISS: Zombies (Sacks, Buchemi) keep things moving towards “the signal” and finding what caused the outbreak. Will they become Creatures Of The Night or will they survive this Psycho Circus that they are currently in?

Red Sonja #14: Tiger By the Tail

Comic Book Reviews, Dynamite EntertainmentBy Joshua CampbellMarch 7, 2020

Red Sonja #14

My only gripe about this comic is that it ended and I cant wait to add Red Sonja #14 (Russell, Q, Kelly, Otsmane-Elhaou) to my collection!

Vampirella #8: Downhill From Here…

Comic Book Reviews, Dynamite EntertainmentBy Guest AuthorMarch 4, 2020

Vampirella #8

The plot deepens in Vampirella #8 (Priest, Timpano, Gunduz, Schubert), a book that proves Priest is weaving a complex tale bringing in many different aspects of Vampirella’s origins while taking the character in a fresh new direction that isn’t afraid to take chances.

Red Sonja & Vampirella Meet Betty & Veronica #9 : Time Traveling Time!

Comic Book Reviews, Dynamite EntertainmentBy Duna HallerMarch 1, 20201 Comment

Red Sonja & Vampirella Meet Betty & Veronica #9

Solving last issue’s wormhole cliffhanger with style, you can almost listen to 70s music and smell popcorn and grease coming out of these pages. It’s surely a wild ride to the past.

James Bond #3: The Spy Who Bored Me

Comic Book Reviews, Dynamite EntertainmentBy Jimmy HayesFebruary 22, 2020

James Bond #3

James Bond (Ayala, Lore, D’Urso, Renna, Kurichiyanil) #3 is the most underwhelming Bond comic that I’ve read since Dynamite got the license. Disappointing, but not enough to change my opinion of this excellent series.

Red Sonja #13: There Were No Victors…Only Survivors

Comic Book Reviews, Dynamite EntertainmentBy Guest AuthorFebruary 11, 2020

Red Sonja #13

As the focus finally returns to Queen Sonja the Red, the series once again finds its footing with an epic tale of conquest and consequence in Red Sonja #13 (Russell, Q, Kelly, Otsmane-Elhaou).

Vampirella #7: The Host Awakens

Comic Book Reviews, Dynamite EntertainmentBy Guest AuthorFebruary 6, 2020

Vampirella #7

Vampirella #7 (Priest, Timpano, Gunduz, Schubert) is a great example of the opportunities this intricate and long form approach to storytelling affords, capitalizing on an exciting guest artist appearance for another must read issue.

Comic Book Reviews, Dynamite EntertainmentBy Guest AuthorFebruary 3, 2020

Red Sonja: Age of Chaos #1

Red Sonja confronts the characters of Chaos in this new exciting #1 (Burnham, Lau, Woods, Mangual) from Dynamite, bringing together a brutal cast that sure knows how to deliver both violent action and plenty of frights!

Red Sonja #12: Let Us Bring This War to an End

Comic Book Reviews, Dynamite EntertainmentBy Guest AuthorJanuary 18, 2020

Red Sonja #12

Red Sonja #12 (Russell, Colak, Kelly, Otsmane-Elhaou) concludes the epic year-long arc with a whimper, focusing on Sonja the Red less and less in order to firmly establish a narrative surrounding the masculine-driven dynasty of the Zamoran empire.

James Bond #2: A Woman to Spy For

Comic Book Reviews, Dynamite EntertainmentBy Jimmy HayesJanuary 16, 2020

James Bond #2

James Bond #2 (Ayala, Lore, Gapstur, Kurichiyanil) is another great comic version of a Bond popcorn movie. Fun, and it’s got you wondering and guessing with the turn of every page.
