DetailsFrom science to religion to mythology, the Force has captured Star Wars fans’ imaginations for generations while simultaneously serving as a basic philosophical analogy of good vs. evil. But where do midi-chlorians fit into all of this?
DetailsDoctor Sleep
The Shining is known as one of the best horror movies of all time. So, while Doctor Sleep is an exciting and good movie, it left me waiting in anticipation for scary scenes that were few and far between. As the heir to the Shining, this movie should have been scarier and more of a true horror movie.
DetailsI Am Mother
I Am Mother is a slow burn, tension builder of a sci-fi movie that teeters on the edge of thriller and horror territory. In a post-apocalyptic world where most humans have died, viewers are trapped in a claustrophobic bunker with one young girl being raised by a robot known as “Mother”. When a mysterious stranger shows up, audiences never know quite who to trust, machine or human.
DetailsStar Wars: Revenge of the Sith
Much like Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith was still battling perception problems due to the issues with the first two movies. Unlike Attack of the Clones, though, this one completed its task. Granted, the entire prequel trilogy catches a lot of hate, but when people do take the time to discuss the merits of this entry separately, it is often spoken of as the decent movie that it is.
DetailsEwoks: The Battle for Endor
As far as the two Ewok made for TV movies go, this one was much darker and more action-filled than the first, making it more watchable for all ages instead of just young children. Aside from its fantasy elements, this Ewoks installment is more like a true entry of the Star Wars saga.
DetailsHe was the man who never took off his mask, which made him perfect for any story that fans could dream up. Over the course of just a few summers, Boba Fett became a legend.
DetailsAre the clone troopers perfect? No. In fact, I would venture to say that nothing in Star Wars is truly perfect (except for—and I cannot emphasize this enough—the beautiful, beautiful Ewan McGregor). But when it comes to wartime themes, a focus on the necessity of humanity is about as perfect as it gets.
DetailsStar Wars: Attack of the Clones
Attack of the Clones moves slowly till about the last half hour when it speeds up tremendously on the action. During that slow time, however, it fixed many issues left from the first movie. While fixing those issues and audience complaints, Attack of the Clones paved the way for the much better, darker Revenge of the Sith.

DetailsCaravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure
While Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure isn’t a great movie and doesn’t hold up over the years since its release, audiences have to remember it was intended for young children. After Return of the Jedi, kids wanted more of the adorable teddy bear creatures, and that was this movie’s goal. Sadly, this movie is boring and strange rather than what one would call an “adventure”.
DetailsStar Wars: Phantom Menace
When Phantom Menace hit the theaters, though, many felt let down. The movie’s biggest mistake (and there were a few) was that it lost the adventure, for the most part. However, Phantom Menace had redeeming qualities that make it much better than the abysmal catastrophe that Internet fandom makes it out to be.
