The Collector is coming down Project Runaway now with some unique costumes you won’t find at your local Walmart. Fandomaniax has an enormous selection of Marvel garments in a jacket, hoodie, leggings, shirt, and shorts styles. You’ll find many characters here you won’t find elsewhere like Ghost, Cloak, Iron Fist, Venom, and many others.
Fandomaniax is an online store that ships from China. Make sure to take your measurements carefully then add two sizes to that as their products tend to run on the small side. Also, the colors are a bit more muted than they are in photos.
If you prefer your costumes in leather/pleather there are a couple of leather jacket makers with a stock of superhero costuming. I’ve ordered a Hawkeye/SHIELD vest and an Arrow costume which were very well done. AmericaSuits.com and USAJackets.com and MovieJackets.com are very similar to each other in terms of what they carry and the website look. They may be related to each other but the prices often vary. One thing though…they have several superhero characters advertised with only a photo of the character from the movie or TV show to go by and nothing of the actual product they are selling. It would probably be best to steer clear of those products as the odds of being dissatisfied are much greater. Otherwise, I have liked what I’ve purchased.
Finally, we have X-Coser. This company specializes in cosplay items from full costumes to wigs and props and accessories. Again, you’ll want to take your measurements carefully and then add 2 or even 3 sizes above that because sizes tend to run small. X-Coser ships from China so order quickly if you want to get it before Halloween. It might behoove you to contact them in advance to see if they have what you want in stock and if they can ship it to you before Halloween. I’ve purchased several items from them and when I’ve had problems they have taken care of them for me. My favorite thing I’ve bought is their Dr. Strange outfit which comes with an Eye of Agamotto and everything except pants and boots which I was able to supply from my own closet.
