Presenting some of the movie tie-ins for Avengers Endgame. Plus! Something only a being of cosmic proportion such as I could bring you…revealed here for the first time…the other Infinity Gauntlet!
First off… in the tradition of a little suspense, I bring you everybody’s favorite little poops — er, I mean Pops! How many versions of the Avengers can they keep making Pops of? I wouldn’t mind, perhaps, a set of naked Avengers! No, really…where else can they go from here? I have expected them to be selling boxes of dust after the last movie.
Next up are the Marvel Gallery statues. Don’t expect these to be the only ones as Diamond will probably follow them up with more later on as they did with Infinity War.
Unfortunately, some of the Pops and Marvel Gallery items are exclusives which means you will have to chase them down. Ronin in particular is getting the exclusive treatment in both Pops and Gallery statues. Since Endgame marks the only appearance of the character these might fetch a hefty price on the after sales market. But with the recent announcement of a Hawkeye series for Disney + is this really going to be the last time we see Ronin?
Moving along to Hot Toys…Hawkeye is getting two versions…the regular one features just Hawkeye while the deluxe version also has his Ronin costume and accessories. The deluxe version is $275.
Joining Hawkeye/Ronin are Iron Man Mark LXXXV ($423), Thanos ($415) and Nebula ($215).
If you’re on that “social media” thing…what do they call it? Oh, yes, Face Book, you have no doubt seen numerous places selling “Quantum Clothing”. Hoodies, sports shirts, jackets, pants, you can get an entire outfit!
Now that I’ve kept you squirming for our headline story, here it is! Evidence my underlings have acquired suggest there is going to be another Infinity Gauntlet in Avengers Endgame! Now, whether this turns out to be a replacement for the first gauntlet which appeared to have went all “spit-ffft-crunch” after that egomaniac Thanos wiped out half of all existence (putting a rather sizable dent in future people collecting I might add) or it is indeed a second Infinity Gauntlet that might be used by any of our intrepid heroes (such as the thunderous Thor!) remains to be seen. What we do know through the merchandising grapevine is there is a replica of a right handed gauntlet in the form of a bank produced by Monogram. We went to their offices for an interview and no one was in but the place was a mess with dust absolutely everywhere! Would it hurt them to hire a janitor? But we do have photos not only of the bank but of Thanos himself wearing a right handed gauntlet!
See? Huh? Perhaps the greatest spoiler in movie history courtesy of your friend, The Collector. Now, if I’m wrong about this, just blame it on my brother, The Grandmaster. He’s the one who brought me the news but you know him and his silly games! I must bid you farewell for now. I’m due on the Red Carpet for the Avengers Endgame premier. I’m Thor’s “plus one”!
