The Collector’s Corner: New DC Figures and Statues

It's an All-DC Special Edition featuring the latest figures and statues from the company that brought you Bouncing Boy!

Hello and welcome to a special DC Comics edition of my Corner. I’m not one for speaking first person so I’m saying “My Corner”. Well that’s what it is…I’m the Collector aka Elder of The Universe aka Friend of the Avengers. Now what was I about to say before I had to stop and explain silly things? Oh, yes. Undead super heroes are hot these days. Just look at the comic book based The Walking Dead. It’s in its 10th season! Horror TV shows are lucky to get past 10 episodes. I must confess, though, a preference for the living simply because the dead are so smelly! These figures have the aroma of fresh plastic! Funny, huh? Ha ha? No? Well then I will make sure your figures arrive with a nice piece of rotting cow meat included.

“DCeased”. How clever. Moving on, these next figures are called The Adventure Continues.

Now let’s check out the statues. We’ll start with the less expensive ones first.

Well, wasn’t that nice? Now let’s take a look at what you really want to see…those gorgeous DC statues you’d sell your mother to own! And guess what? You might actually have to do that! First we’ll take a look at the 1/3 scale statues…

Black Manta is a one-third scale statue as are.

Black Manta goes for $800, Poison Ivy is $1390, Huntress is $1080,  Harley Quinn is $940 and the Metal Museum Masterline The Drowned statue is $1195. Is the one third scale too small for you? Looking for something a bit bigger that requires adding on an additional room to your house? The Arkham Origins Museum Masterline Mr. Freeze is $1625 and is 1/2 scale meaning he can probably be put where your refrigerator is now and he might even keep your food cold!

Continuing the Museum Masterline class of statues, from Batman v Superman comes these half scale treats.

The Batman v Superman Museum Masterline Knightmare Batman half scale statue will set you back $2315.00

Did you think the Bat armor was really neato? They’ve got a statue for that! And coming in at only $2233.00!

If you’re looking for something a little less pricey, this Batman v Superman Museum Masterline half scale Batman is only $2040.00

The Museum Masterline half scale Superman is wearing a black costume. I may be wrong but didn’t the black costume pop up in Justice League? Black suit Superman is $2319.00. Given Superman’s strength, you can probably throw out your living room chair to make room for him and just sit on his beefy shoulders.

Well, now, how is it they put it? Oh yes…that’s all for now, folks. Be sure to visit My Corner next time when I’ll present…I am not really sure what it is I will dazzle you with next so you will just have to come back and see.
