Teenage Mutant Ninja Turltes #6

Recap
The family is back together; there are fences to mend and fights to get into, but first there’s a city to save.
Review
There is no fandom like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Dedicated, loveable, and protective! I knew Jason Aaron coming down to the sewers was gonna be fun. But I was not ready for what has been delivered so far; we’re six issues in and I’m getting Vito Corleone-size goosebumps!
Jason Aaron is in the process of delivering a masterclass diving deep into the emotions and struggles of the turtles. The brilliance of dedicating an issue and not only capturing the soul of the turtles but bringing their faults (which happen to be their best asset) forward. His interpretation of their relationship as brothers is so compelling on a level that I don’t no longer need these four fighting crime, I need these four fighting their emotions and each other!
Just as Aaron’s words described the turtles’ love, pain, and devotion to each other; Juan Ferreyra’s art captured their essence with visuals bursting with energy, and every punch and kick felt. Ferreyra’s use of shadows and light masterfully enhances the mood, from the dim, tension-filled sewers to the vibrant, chaotic streets of New York.
Final Thoughts
This beautifully explores the unbreakable bond of the turtles, even when their differences threaten to pull them apart. Jason Aaron and Co. have created another gripping and heartfelt chapter in TMNT lore.
