Recap

In a world where superheroes don’t just lose, they die, and villains win. A world without hope. Logan finds himself on a new adventure. In a place of darkness, we see Old Man Logan finds hope.

Review

Right off the bat this gives you Mad Max vibes. Which I am here for. I love apocalyptic storylines and nothing is more horrific then Marvel’s Old Man series (Logan and Hawkeye).

I will admit, I expected the cannibal Ghost Rider-type of characters in the book. When I read “We are going to eat you,” I was like, oh that is where we are in this apocalypse, we have lost so much humanity we are just eating each other now.  I like where the story is going. I love that Knight didn’t shy away with how messed up people are, that in these situations we lose a big part of our humanity.

I am not exactly sure where Eastern Border of Former Hulkland territory is but I assume Arizona Nevada judging by the art. Speaking of the art, I loved the night panels. It looked horrifying just like you would imagine it would in the movies.  The art over all was great.

Baby Hulk can’t eat flesh, and that makes him sad. We are left with the question, “Is he going to be just like his dad or is he going to have a chance to be different?”  We also find out what is worse then adamantium claws.

Final Thoughts

The team on Wastelanders: Wolverine know what they are doing, the story is intriguing the art is on point for the feel which makes the story even more enjoyable.
