Review

Another beautifully drawn and quick moving issue from Spencer and Jarrell, Archie #704 deploys a retrospective narrator in Archie telling this tale of the seeming Everytown of Riverdale. The use of this narration mirrors that of the Riverdale television series yet still manages to be a distinct imaginative construct unto itself. There is something genuine about this series, despite its clear lighter-than-reality tone and hijinks. Archie continues to be a surprisingly well-executed series that I find an absolute delight to read each month.

Final Thoughts

A fun book for new and long-time fans of the Riverdale kids alike.
