Review

I may be suffering from interlude fatigue with this being the fourth or fifth such issue out of the first bakers dozen, or i may just genuinely dislike a lot of this story. Considering this issue features a woman karate chopping a gorilla’s head off (there is no part of that sentence i don’t love) that dislike clearly runs deep. There are minimal stakes in this issue and it isn’t just that I know what’s going to happen, I truly don’t care. I am a fan of literally everybody that worked on this book, and still I’m more annoyed the more I think about it. I even hate the cover by the uber talented Steve Epting. I promise, Jason Aaron, Andrea Sorrentino, Cory Petit, Justin Ponzor, Erick Arcienega, Steve Epting, i’m sorry, I love you all and will continue buying your books every chance i get. I did not like a single thing about this issue. No more BC Avengers ever, please.

Final Thoughts

Only buy this issue if you're closely following a year and a half old half baked plot thread that will almost certainly be forgotten soon.
