Avengers #6: Nothing Cures the Celestial Cold Like a Bowl of Primordial Genetic Chicken Soup

The most powerful forces on Earth (and some beyond) sense how dire the repercussions will be if the Avengers lose in their battle with the Celestials of the Final Host. The now-titanic forms of She-Hulk, Thor, Ghost Rider and Iron Man duke it out with the still superior Celestials as Black Panther and Captains America and Marvel confront the horde of cosmic locusts. As the fight wears on, the Avengers realize they are going to lose on might vs. might alone and have to think of another way to win. Together they realize that the infected Celestials didn’t just land on Earth to die, they saw the potential for a cure of their malady in Earth’s primordial genetic code. Strange elucidates the theory but Stark puts it into action. Focusing the sum of all of their superhuman powers into a single blast through their chosen avatar (Ghost Rider and his Celestial chassis), the Avengers wipe out the locust swarms and weaken the Celestials, allowing them to be cleansed from the inside-out.  During the aftermath, a chained-up Loki laughs in defeat, seemingly taking credit for reassembling the Avengers.
