Review
Hill starts off with having Blade coming into a town to help out Bruce Banner in a dire situation he has found himself in. Bruce is quick to explain what is going on and how an entity has control over the body of a young man.
It’s amazing seeing Blade’s willingness to save an innocent life. Even though he is completely uncertain if what he would do could save the person, it’s admirable to see his dedication in helping someone. Hill really crafts up a very unique way of getting to trick a demon to find their demise by having Blade accept the monster inside him, and then bringing the entity for Bruce to demolish at first sight. It’s appreciative to see different ways of taking care of a type of enemy. It is nice for two big name characters to interact with each other in a story like this. While they aren’t best friends, they certainly do have respect for each other. They are also a good pair in the way that they both have a type of monster inside of them.
The artistic duo of Pinti and Diaz really are able to conjure up a feeling of suspense and like there is a consistent lurking presence that is haunting Blade. The fear that radiates from characters isn’t easy to portray, yet this team does a fantastic job in exploring that.
Blade makes the riveting conclusion that his adventure will now be leading him straight to Hell. It’s definitely not an average visit so audiences will find themselves incredibly curious as to how he will get there and what exactly is awaiting him.
Final Thoughts
It's incredible to see a grand pairing in an issue that is Blade and Bruce Banner. This issue brought in such a suspenseful feeling that audiences will appreciate while having dynamic interactions between the duo.
