Recap

The conclusion of Mrs. Creel is upon us. We have Catwoman meets The Walking Dead. What more can you ask for in a comic book, we have Catwoman fighting off zombies!  We get the grand finale of this twenty-one-issue story.

Review

The conclusion is upon us. I will admit, I wasn’t the biggest fan of Jones’ Catwoman at first. It appeared to be filler issues and let a lot of questions open. I felt there wasn’t anything closed. However, as I went on to read the series, I understand. Jones did well by not leaving any loose ends. Also closes with you wanting more, what adventure is next? We have zombies! I love anything zombies and Catwoman is one of my favorite characters, Jones mixed the two, there is no way I am not loving this series.

I am only going to gush about this series. The writing was awesome, even when I thought an issue was a filler, it was more of a hook that would be answered several issues later.

The art in this issue is outstanding. The linework to the colors used to set the tone for the story. This is a winning team for what should be a winning series. One of my favorite parts of the art was the action sequence. It flowed so nicely. The art allowed you to envision it as a movie scene rather than showing one fight panel.

If you are a Catwoman fan, this is a must-read series. I would recommend reading in graphic novel so you can binge read. I think it reads better when you can read it together.

Final Thoughts

A wonderful conclusion to a Catwoman series that will be talked about for ages to come.
