With the series reaching it’s end, this issue really turned everything on it’s ear. Truths have been revealed and the story has taken a whole new dynamic.

Si Spurrier never ceases to amaze me with his writing and I would consider this story among some of his best. With just a couple issues left this book is still full of endless surprises and new twists as details are brought to light. Lies and betrayal are brought to to the surface as Hum still struggles to recover from Serka’s rejection. As always, the emotions feel real and story is wonderfully written.

Bergara’s art, as usual, is flawless; masterfully depicting epic battles while conveying the epic size and might of the colossal Thundergog. You can feel the shock, anger and/or concern on a characters face from just a glance and the action is awe-inspiring and in your face.

This series refuses to stop being great. With the twists and reveals of this issue, I’m excited to see how it all ends.

Final Thoughts

Another exciting issue in a great series; filled with twists and turns to keep you on your toes. I highly recommend giving this book a read.
