What You Need to Know: Batman has captured Mr. Freeze for the murder of three young women. Freeze has confessed to their murders as a result of his experiments. Bruce Wayne has been selected for Jury duty for the criminal trial of Mr. Freeze. To complicate the matter Bruce is the Hold out on the jury, that says that Batman made a mistake, and Freeze could be innocent. They discuss there are three main pieces of evidence to go over.
What You’ll Find Out: The Jury has hit a stalemate. Without his vote, the jury is hung. They cannot return to their lives and families. Bruce is more concerned that Freeze gets his fair day in court. Bruce makes a deal with the group after objecting about the guilty plea. He says that if they review the three pieces of evidence once again, and he is not able to convince them that then he will change his vote. They go over the evidence, and Bruce tries to convince the group that despite what they believe, Batman is not infallible.
What just Happened:
The biggest point that Bruce tries to get across is that a lot of the evidence points to Freeze having his suit and his Gun. This violates his parole, but he has a good motive. Freeze was deathly Batman, and he knew that he would be coming for him. He was so afraid of his methods, that he would risk his freedom to protect himself from The Dark Knight. Bruce tells the jury about his parents and how they were murdered in front of him. The way he passionately describes the traumatic story, he tells them that this is the type of fear that you cannot let go of. The kind that takes a hold of all rational thought.
The Jury is not convinced. Little do they know that Bruce Wayne, the man that has made the passionate plea for the Cold Criminal’s innocence has a secret up his sleeve. To be continued…

Final Thought:
This is kind of a strange story. I feel like Bruce is giving away much more of himself than he usually does, and especially in such a high profile case. The ominous ending where it seems like Bruce will expose is dual identity is clearly a tease, or this will end up a dream. But this reader was left looking for any scrap of what happened to His and Catwoman’s relationship. This is a straight up tease! It has some valid detective work, and the story is pretty enjoyable in context, but I am seething with anticipation to find out what happens next. The sigh of a long slow build that Tom King has been working on since the first issue. This issue teases all the right spots to get you invested enough to wait for the conclusion. A good detective story, that speaks to the hearts and characters of any Batman fan.
