Review

I will have to start out by admitting I am a bit bias in this book. I am a huge fan of anything Winter Soldier, however, for the sake of professionalism, I will ATTEMPT to contain my excitement.

I am new to the Falcon. I never knew he spoke to birds before. I never experienced Bucky and Sam interacting before. I believe the last book I read with a team-up with Bucky was Hawkeye, which was a stellar series.   I believe Landy capture Sam’s character really well. I say that because of what experience I do have of Sam (movies and a few Avengers comics). He sounded the same. Which as a reader is nice, few writers can make a character sound like the same person.

The artwork is done really well. I love the panels with Bucky’s home is being shot up. There was a really nice splash page with where Falcon is soaring through the air that was stunning.

The story so far shows a lot of promise. I was left with a few questions that I felt may not be answered by I will wait until the end of the series to see if they surprise me. Overall as a fan, I am in, I can’t wait to read issue two. As a reviewer, I am excited to see where this goes.

Final Thoughts

This team-up seems right, I don't just mean the Ex-Captain America's the creative team gets an A-plus on this project thus far.
