Kevin and Miranda search for the Green Realms, now armed with a cloak of protection for Miranda. Still captured by the Umbra Sprite Magda and Hugo use their new Fairy Familiar Cleo, to scout the exit to their prison. A diminished Umbra Sprite calls her daughters as she fades from existence.
Review
Magda and Hugo assemble the items that have been Magically altered for their escape, including some fancy magical Sneakers for Hugo to walk up the sheer walls. 
Matt and Miranda run across the Questing Beast once more, and they follow it to the Green Place. A place of unbridled Magical power and chaos, yet Kevin knows this is where he needs to take Miranda to save his Wife and son from the Umbra Sprite.
The Umbra Mother tells her most faithful daughters that she is fading from this mortal shell. The Black waters of the fountain must be replenished. She sacrifices her daughter Aleksi, to the fountain, and is once again replenished, as the fountain leeches the life from the girl’s body. The Umbra is again renewed.
Final Thoughts
There is still an element of whimsical fun to be had amidst the terrible circumstances. Magda and Hugo are very engaging, and they are handing their captivity quite well. The Fairy Familiar was a great pick up last issue. The Kevin part of this book was not really as interesting as the Umbra Sprite and the parts with Magda and Hugo, but I guess since it's his book he has to show up. The best part of this book was the Umbra Sprite/Mother who demonstrates her ruthlessness as she sacrificed her daughter to replace her own life force for the coming battle with the Pendragon. A solid story that keeps going, very few "Wow" moments but a good bridge between plots, and certainly not a bad issue.
