Star Wars #57 Stranded in Paradise

As Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker and Han Solo sit in Paradise as they are stranded in Hubin. As a well-armored man approaches them introducing himself as Thane Makona. He apologizes for his disappearance blaming it on a pack of Thanrax.

After the gang exchanges pleasantries they discuss how they are stranded for 5 more months as they only receive shippings every 6 months. Mr. Makona's daughter Tula Markona appears giving them the details of the delay.

Luke ask why the Empire leaves them alone. Thane states in his previous career he has had the rights to retire. Luke inquires what side he fought on, which was never answered. He just guarantees that they have their hospitality as long as they stay.

Tula gives Luke and Han a tour of the grounds as Leia decides to stay back and think of their options. As the tour continues Han finds a tavern. Currency is not accepted in Hubin if you want to drink you have to work.

Leia finds Han as he was working, saying they should get dinner after he is done working. Tula's father takes over the tour for young Luke. During the tour, they are interrupted, informed that a Thanrax pack has circled around. Thane and Luke spring into action As they arrive, Thane jumps into action.
