Star Wars: Inquisitors #4 is the final installment of this Star Wars story that tood the story if the forgotten Jedi Tensu Run and his encounters with  four of Vader’s Inquisitors.

Overall it was a good story and well written, but was a very compressed four-issue story that, at best skimmed the surface of these fallen Jedi, focusing more on Tensu Run and his attempt to make good on his “fame” and restore the Jedi Order and fight the Empire.

From the end of Issue 3 to the beginning of Issue 4 there seems to be a big chunk of story missing as at the end of issue 3 Tensu has bested the Seventh and Ninth Sisters and saying it’s time to meet Vader. Issue 4 opens with Stormtroopers easily killing Jedi while Tensu and his close friends wait until the Inquisitors attack all together in a last effort to appease Vader’s wishes, which they don’t, and at least are not, on panel punished for their failures, which is very un-Darth Vader like.

Tensu’s end is one that is expected with Vader making easy work of the Jedi in an anticlimactic scene. These final panels are the only instances where there is any theoretical debate between Tensu, The Grand Inquisitor and Vader.

The art and color work in the issue and series was a good fit and brought the story to life
