The party-assembly continues as Dail rescues a Quellaren named Kikanni from certain doom and delivers her to Volness. Dail learns a bit about the history of Quellaquaserris, more commonly called "Quell-World" but the history lesson is interrupted when an unexpected combatant enters the arena!
Review
Zub and Dunbar’s Stone Star continues to be an exciting entry into the field of sci-fi/fantasy with its second chapter. The dynamic artwork and superb world-building make Stone Star an incredibly fun read for anybody looking for a new series in the genre. As yet, there isn’t a great depth to the narrative but it is quite enjoyable as a form of escapism with undertones of the exploitation of indigenous people bubbling to the surface slowly.
Final Thoughts
Stone Star #2 is one helluva fun comic!
