Joshua Rubin, the writer behind games like Assassin’s Creed II, Destiny, and Telltale’s The Walking Dead, and a dozen more, joins the show to chat about the just launched Strange Land Comics, an indie imprint focused on high-concept, mind-bending, brain candy sci-fi and their first release.
The first book, Time Sensitive, launches on Kickstarter this Spring. It’s an existential puzzle-thriller in the spirit of Severance, Inception and Black Mirror, with stunning art by Jorge Coelho (The Great Gatsby, Loki, Rocket Raccoon), color by indie star Kay Woolhiser, and lettering from industry veteran Micah Meyers.
