The Dreaming #10
Recap
The dreaming is in chaos as the dora moth tries to impose logic on the realm and bring things back to normal. Abel acts as our interpreter throughout the issue, asking the questions and clarifying as we move through everything.
Dora is cleaning up the aftermath of the Judge’s destruction and the outpouring of denizens of other realms. The two stories appear to be converging as we draw nearer to Daniel and what drove him from the Dreaming.
Review
We don’t see any of Lucien or Rose in this issue, most of the time is spent on what seems like ephemeral topics highlighting the chaos and disorder that surrounds the Dreaming. Seeing that the dora moth is willing to destroy people as much as the judge begs the question whether there is much difference in what she is attempting to accomplish and what the judge was after. Though it may be more pleasant, it begs the question if it is better.
Cain and Abel become more and more wrapped up int the core of the mystery (secret?) of what’s going on, with Cain missing and Abel mostly back to normal, what will happen when the brothers meet again? Will lessons be learned or will chaos be renewed?
Final Thoughts
The story moves more like a spiral than an arc, but is winding its to a new paradigm. A delightful tale to follow.
