Review
This has been a tough issue for me to review. Not that I disliked the issue, but that I liked it so much and there is so much going on that it has been hard to focus my thoughts on the book for long enough to get a review written… but here it is.
This series build a lot of mystery and suspense in the first issue and honestly, this issue has at least tripled it. DeMatteis has thus far blown my mind with this series and I am enjoying every moment of it. While answering questions from the first issue he also manages to raise several new ones and, at the same time, add multiple new aspects to the story that only add to the intrigue.
The art is great once again; with awe-inspiring colors that somehow seem neon and pastel at the same time and beautiful splash pages that feel like a walk thru the life of someone you’ve never met. From literal dreamscapes filled with fanciful creatures to crowded city streets where you could almost feel the people standing shoulder to shoulder as they move about their day, every page included art that beautifully complimented the story and gave a real feel to the situation at hand.
This was an eventful issue that was both very well written and wonderfully illustrated. I’m excited to see where this series takes us next.

An eventful and intriguing issues that raises two questions for every one it answers, with great art illustrating a suspenseful mystery.
