Recap

On a seemingly normal New York day, all is quiet until a rash of explosions and other wild man made catastrophes rings out across the city. Clearly targeting the 1% while they convene behind closed doors at the U.N. and similar digs, the reader is brought along on a cryptic journey to see just who is the shadowy figure behind all this chaos and what is his actual goal?

Review

Following in the same vein as the original The Visitor series, Levitz unleashes a jarring mystery. The rich guys in this issue are clearly up to no good, but just what who knows? Why that would trigger some mystery man going all V for Vendetta on them, who friggin knows. What I do know though is Levitz sets up a delightful read here which hopefully holds some heavy developments when we do see who The Visitor actually is.

In the OG, for simplicity sake let’s just say the Visitor was basically Cable: a time displaced version of Peter Stanchek aka Sting aka Harbinger the main man who led the charge against Toyo Harada, Harbinger Foundation and a bunch of others. The how’s and why’s of all that…well go read it, it’s an awesome series but what that means now is literally anyone can be The Visitor.

It could be Archer, it could be Ninjak or any of the surviving Ninja Programme members, it could be someone totally new, it could be Savage or Ivar the Timewalker. The sky is the limit because we’re giving just enough to see whoever this man is, he’s got beef, he’s got skills and he’s got access to some dangerous tools. So whatever these guys did, The Visitor unless he’s just absolutely unhinged means serious business about his revenge. Matter of fact, even if he is completely unhinged that would make a sick reader experience too so Levitz has really nailed a win-win scenario here.

The entire creative team gives you just enough to keep you on the hook and itching for more.

Final Thoughts

If you're looking for a legit mystery to sink your teeth into but also need a Law-abiding Citizen style action fix? Levitz and the gang got you covered fam.
