Jane Foster could have battled her cancer and possibly win her battle if she never picked up Mjolnir. But the world needed a Thor and she wouldn’t let the world be with one. And even more importantly, when the gods needed rescuing. Jane Foster sacrificed her life to save them.

Final Thoughts: The Death of the Mighty Thor is the best comic story you’ll read this year, hands down! This will go down in the annals of great stories alongside The Dark Phoenix Saga and The Infinity Gauntlet. From the writing to the art, it’s a magnificent example of what comic book storytelling should be. Do not miss out on this epic tale!
