Highlights of the issue include:
The interview with Kathleen Kennedy, the outgoing President of Lucasfilm. The piece is an interesting retrospective of Kennedy, which shows the effort and things she brought to the Star Wars universe, and shows that even if you disagree with the directions she steered the properties, it was done because of her love of the story and what it represented.
Another high point was The Insider’s Insider, where various actors, authors, and contributors to the magazine wax poetic about what The Insider has meant to them over the years.
Finally, the article about Rogue One and what got left on the cutting room floor was also an interesting article given that the 10th anniversary of the film is being celebrated over at Marvel with a series of one-shots from writers like Benjamin Percy, Christopher Condon, Ethan Sacks, and Stephanie Phillips, beginning this coming week with Cassian Andor #1
It is sad to see that the Star Wars Insider is coming to an end, but it has been a solid run over the years, and it is something for everyone who worked on and contributed to can be proud of a job well-done/
The issue goes on sale in the US on May 5, 2026, and in the UK on June 4, 2026, from Titan Comics and is well worth the read
