Review

Wow what a roller coaster of an issue, I loved the character moments, was so excited when Odin showed up, now I’m damn near crying. What the what is this story? I love it! I thought it did a really good job of balancing action, a moderate amount of necessary exposition and about 4 pages of setup for the various spinoffs, tie ins and such. An argument could be made that this is an issue long fight that just served to launch more things to buy, which isn’t incorrect, but I’m so very happy with the book I just read it’s hard to care.

The art by Russell Dauterman is a bit less detailed than last issue at points but seriously who cares the panel layouts consider to inspire and the splash page of Odin and the Valkyries swooping in is mind blowing!

Final Thoughts

I might not be the best person to review this because I adore it so much.
