Review

A pretty great issue that manages to address also all of my issues with the logistics of splitting of Valkyrie and Riggs and bringing Annabelle Riggs back safely. Cullen Bunn does such a fantastic job of doing an absolute TON of legwork without being overly dense, and keeping it entertaining without losing the feels.

As I said in my review of last issue this is a fairly intelligently written series and it’s a shame it always seems to be caught up in some event with less life of its own than I would like. I’m a little worried the series will end soon which would be a shame, but so far 2 of the teams main characters have died in WOTR and Angela seems to be taking on the Angels alone…

The art by Paulo Villanelli and Federico Blee is truly great especially considering the varied character designs from Simonson’s Malekith all the way up to the Todd Mcfarlane designed Angela every character looks amazing and I loved the glimpse into the land of the dead, excellent.

Some solid coloring by Federico Blee!

Final Thoughts

Good issue in a good series
