War of the Realms: Journey into Mystery #3: Do You Remember the Good Old Days Before the Ghost Town?

Somehow I’m not enjoying an appearance of some rarely seen Western heroes. Thanks to the strange writing style and annoying jokeyness I had pretty minimal fun reading this piece of joyless nonsense. Does this team/series exist for a reason? I guess I bought a copy and that’s the reason. The team seems to have basically no goal and even if they do I truly don’t care.

The issue definitely felt like an attempt to make a Marvel Scooby Doo episode, complete with a talking dog.

I will say there are some splash pages and panels that are really good, I’m really not trying to rag on anyone deliberately this series is just not on the same level as the rest of the event and it’s upsetting, especially if you pay for it.
