Recap

Following a heavy defeat in Shanghai; in The New Agents of Atlas work against a Muspelheim occupation in order to rescue Luna Snow!

Review

A really fun second issue that touches on the initial attack then jumps ahead to the occupation, providing a necessary time skip to catch it up to date on the War of the Realms main event. I liked the idea of Cho (Brawn?! I’m never calling him that) posing as a Goblin using Fire Goblin fire pilfered from a restaurant seat (it doesn’t go out) to sneak into Sindr’s base, which is shockingly poorly guarded, even Luna Snow in a cage just has a couple goblins standing a ways away making fun of her. Greg Pak does a phenomenal job setting up a lot of new characters and I’m really happy to see they’ve announced a mini spinning out of this short tie in series.

I demand a Shang Chi, Crescent and Io team up story, their team up moment delighted me to no end and I just want them to be besties forever! Likewise Pele is pretty cool, interesting stuff.

Also, check out this lady! Hahahaha she doesn’t care who’s her boss she’s kicking ass.

The art by Gang Hyuk Lim and Federico Blee is excellent, especially the fire goblins which are crazy looking, not to mention having a dozen characters stay on model is impressive in and of itself.

Final Thoughts

A decent issue that is somewhat pivotal to the Asian continent's place in the War of the Realms.
