War of the Realms: Thor #12
Recap
Thor is nowhere to be found in this Loki centric Dickens tale, why does it always have to be a Christmas Carol? Ugh, he's a teenager, do Oliver Twist or something.
Review
A War of the Realms tie in that gives us a requiem for Loki in the form of a past present and future “this is your life!” kind of thing that is a chore to read. It’s fine for what it is but man is it well tread water. Combine that with the fact that Loki isn’t dead to the surprise of literally no one and this is a damn toothless issue.
The art by Mike Del Mundo was probably pretty good before he rubbed all that mayonnaise all over the place.
I should also mention the cover is very misleading, also infuriating.
Final Thoughts
I should qualify, I love Thor so damn much. He isn't in this issue though, don't waste your time.

Someone who rates comics below fantastic and incredible in every review. That’s refreshing, especially when it comes to the tripe Aaron puts out these days where good and bad are just two versions of bad like TV wrestling. You’re right on point on this issue and it’s flaws. Comic sales keep dropping for a reason, and one of the biggest reasons are stories like this that simply don’t connect to the past and don’t tell a story anyone in the future will consider worth reading.
