Wonder Girl #5 How to Anger The Gods 101

This issue is a can’t miss issue. Well, let’s be honest, this series is a can’t miss Amazon story. Issue five is an important issue because its pivotal to the story, it gives direction. We can see what direction we are headed. Last issue we weren’t sure if Yara was going to join the gods or if she was going to remain herself.  We find out. We also get a few surprises along the way along with a return of Donna Tory. 

This also was a sad issue, we see a death that hurts. One of my favorite characters is killed off. I am hoping that they are able to bring him back to life some how (Please Joelle).

The art was pretty. One panned in particular stood out to me. The shot in Brazil, where Potira was looking over mountains, she was in a black silhouette, the sky was cloudy, Cassie approached from behind was absolutely beautiful. Also when Potira as showing Cassie Esquecida was really gorgeous, the use of Pink made it glow.
