With Halloween coming up, I just wanted to share a list of things I have enjoyed reading that are just right for the season. Some are single issues, and some are series. This is in no way comprehensive of Halloween comics and only reflect my experience as a reader.
10. Nightveil’s Cauldron of Horror
What better way to celebrate Halloween with AC Comic’s resident sorceress? This series always gave some spooky fun.
#9 Wonder Woman ’77 Chapter 13
Wonder Woman encounters Solomon Grundy on Halloween Night in this series based on the Lynda Carter television series.
8. Marvel Zombies
Pretty much any of the volumes of Marvel Zombies are a good way to celebrate All Hallow’s Eve.
9. Vampirella Halloween Specials
The Vampirella series has multiple Halloween special for readers to enjoy. Do you like your comics with a little bite?
5. DC Universe Halloween Specials
Even the heroes of DC can fall prey to malevolent mischief. Check out stories of your favorite DC characters on Halloween Night.
4. Vampire Tales
This old magazine series from Marvel has some great tales of terror staring Morbius, Satana, Lilith, and more. A great read for the haunted holiday.
4. Helsing
The story of Van Helsing’s daughter as she carries on her father’s monster hunting ways. This series from Zenescope is one of my favorite ways to get into the Halloween spirit.
3. Uncanny X-Men # 159
The X-Men must rescue Storm from Dracula before she permanently becomes his bride. Vampires and mutants are a great holiday treat!
2. Buffy the Vampire Slayer #2
The whole series is great for the season, but in this issue, Buffy must rescue Willow from some vamps on Halloween. Also, Buffy is dressed like Jason from the Friday the 13th movies.
And last, but not least, in the number one spot….
Vision and the Scarlet Witch # 1
Vision and Wanda are attacked by the spirit of Samhain on All Hallow’s Eve. This one is an awesome tale. I read it every year.

Thoroughly awesome list Charlie, with many great tales from different comic groups, though I was hoping to at least see the Nocturnals in there somewhere. But hey, you included Buffy, so all is well.
i need to check out Nocturnals. I don’t think I have ever read that series.
