Even superheroes need someone to love and have a companion. Today we’re counting down my Top 5 Relationships In The Marvel Universe. I will be pointing out my favorite romantic pairings appearing in Marvel Comics. This is based on my opinion. If you have other opinions make sure to add your thoughts in the comment section. These couples are based on chemistry, history, and likeability.
5. Wiccan & Hulking:
Wiccan and Hulking are one of the most famous gay couples not only in the Marvel Universe but in the Comic book community. Their love and care for each other is a positive look that love is love. They are still young and have gone through a lot of changes in their relationship but their desire and love have brought them back together time and time again.
4. Shadowcat and Colossus:
Shadowcat finding love was really hard for her until she met Colossus. These two x-men members finally revealed their love for each other after Colossus died and was resurrected. This is where the relationship was finally taken to the next level. They even got married.
3. Cyclops and Jean Grey:
When most people think of Cyclops and Jean Grey, they think of a crazy and wild relationship. However, even with the issues that occurred during their relationship they still loved and cared for one another and wanted to be with each other no matter what happened. Cyclops was always ready to fight his girl.
2. Rogue and Gambit:
This relationship was a complicated one but a romantic one at that. There was a physical attraction that they had for each other but they couldn’t act upon those feelings because of Rogue’s mutant abilities to touch others and take their powers and memories. But, with love-filled in their hearts, they stayed together and pursued a relationship. Eventually got married and was able to kiss because a piece of technology around Rogue’s neck that suppresses her powers.
1. Spider-Man and Mary-Jane:
Spider-Man and Mary-Jane are without a doubt the most popular relationship in the Marvel universe. If you hear Spider-Man, you also think of Mary-Jane. From really good friends and later lovers. Their history and bond make them a strong couple. Even after a deal with a devil and erasing their relationship from the timeline, their strong electric connection still brought them back together.
