Skybound and Image Comics revealed more information about the launch of G.I. Joe during the Energon Universe panel at San Diego Comic Con. The series will be written by Joshua Williamson with art from Tom Reilly and colors by Jordie Bellaire. The new flagship title joins Transformers and Void Rivals as the core of the Energon Universe, drawing in characters from the respective miniseries of Duke, Cobra, and Destro. Reilly’s designs for the book, new and old characters alike, were revealed. The panel also saw Johnson discussing the upcoming plans for Transformers in conjunction with the Joe revelations. Skybound also released a new trailer for the wider Energon Universe, which can be seen below.
