Amazon Prime Video Announces NYCC Panels, Including The Boys, Good Omens, and More

Following critical success for their in-house production studio with its first comics-based property, The Tick, as well as the Phillip K. Dick science fiction classic, The Man in the High Castle, APV looks to be set to return to the well for 2019 and will be unveiling a number of projects and sneak peaks at October’s New York Comic Convention.

In addition to previewing the third season of The Man in the High Castle and the second season of Lore, Amazon will treat attendees to sneak peaks from the upcoming The Boys and Good Omens.

The Boys, like The Tick, features elements of parody on the comics superhero, as it delves into a darker world in which superheroes have embraced their celebrity status to a detrimental level, leaving only a small team of men and women willing and able to hold them accountable for their actions. Eric Kripke, Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Erin Moriarty, and others will be on-hand for the panel.

Comics and literary icon Neil Gaiman will also be in attendance in his capacity as showrunner for the adaptation of Good Omens, a novel he wrote with Terry Pratchett, released in 1990. Joining him for the panel will be Douglas Mackinnon, David Tennant, Michael Sheen, Miranda Richardson, and others.
