Attack On Titan creator Hajime Isayama’s announced the manga series is entering its final arc.
Jõnetsu Tairiku a documentary program on Mainichi Broadcasting System or MBS revealed on Sunday that Hajime Isayama’s Attack on Titan manga is entering its final arc. Isayama appearance on the program will be on this week’s Sunday episode. Tokyo Broadcasting System or TBS is streaming a video that also teases the manga’s final arc.
Attack on Titan is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama. The series began in Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shõnen Magazine on September 9, 2009, and has been collected into 26 tankõbon volumes as of August 2018. Kodansha Comics publishes the series in print in English, and it released the 25th volume on July 3. Crunchyroll also publishes the manga in English digitally as new chapters are published in Japan. The manga has printed 86 million copies worldwide.
Isayama and his editor Shintaro Kawakubo have both said that “The serialization is slated to end in three to four years.” Hopefully, fan’s might get a little more information on this coming Sunday.
The Attack on Titan manga has produced three seasons of an anime series that began in April 2013, two Japanese live-action films in 2015, which Funimation released theatrically and on home video in North America, a slew of video games, and a light novel series titled Attack on Titan: Before The Fall. And recently Warner Bros finalized a deal to produce their own live-action film adaptation, directed by Andy Muschietti.
