Although there have been a lot of anime additions to Crunchyroll in the past, we’ve never been so excited. The reason being, Crunchyroll brought the most popular anime of all time to its catalog.
The entire Dragon Ball saga will be available to watch in Crunchyroll from now on, which includes Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and Dragon Ball GT. The drop includes both subbed and dubbed versions of Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball GT. However, you can only view Dragon Ball Z in dub for now.
Toei Animation approved for the first time ever to add the entire Dragon Ball saga to Crunchyroll and these will be available in these regions: United States, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada.
The episode count and season numbering will be as follows for the anime:
- Dragon Ball (Seasons 1-5, with 153 Episodes in both English subs and dubs)
- Dragon Ball Z (Seasons 1-9, with 291 Episodes in English dub)
- Dragon Ball GT (Season 1-2, with 64 Episodes in both English subs and dubs)
Here is the trailer officially released by Crunchyroll:
Even though it is only one of the many additions, many more exciting anime titles will be coming to Crunchyroll’s catalog thanks to Funimation merging with it. We’ll soon be able to see many more additions like this.
So, what are your thoughts on this new addition to Crunchyroll? I’ve always wanted Crunchyroll to add Dragon Ball, and it is finally here. I hope you feel the same way and if you want to read more anime news like these, you can refer to the Anime News section of ComicWatch!
