The first trailer for “Fire Force” a new series soon to be a household name.
From the imaginative mind of Atsushi Ohkubo, the creator of Soul Eater, comes Fire Force. This video gives a first look to fans of the new anime series and it shows action scenes that highlighting the animation style of the series, which is to hot to deny with its flaming kicks.
Yuki Yase will director this project with David Production helping bringing it to life. Yamato Haishima is the scriptwriter and Hideyuki Morioka is the character designer. Gakuto Kajiwara from Black Clover has been cast in the role of protagonist Kusakabe Shinra. Shinra is the leading man of Fire Force. With no other information on the series like air date or broadcaster, fans are left in anticipation of this sure to be a hit new anime.
Fire Force is a story set in the year 198 of the Solar Era in Tokyo, special fire brigades are fighting against a phenomenon called spontaneous human combustion where humans beings are turned into living infernos called “Infernals.” While the Infernals are first generation cases of spontaneous human combustion, later generations possess the ability to manipulate flames while retaining human form. Shinra Kusakabe, a youth who gained the nickname Devil’s Footprints for his ability to ignite his feet at will, joins the Special Fire Force Company 8 which composes of other flames users as they work to extinguish any Infernals they encounter. As a faction that is creating Infernals appears, Shira begins to uncover the truth behind a mysterious fire that caused the death of his family twelve years ago.
Fire Force was originally a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Atsushi Ohkubo. Starting with serialization in the manga magazine “Weekly Shonen Magazine” in September 23, of 2015. Its individual chapters have been collected into fifteen tankobon volumes by Kodansha, the first of released in February 17, of 2016. This wonderful series is licensed for English language release in North America by Kodansha USA, which published the first volume in November 8, of 2016.
