The anime world was shocked as Yoshihiro Togashi surprisingly created a Twitter account and showed two secret pages of his progress of returning to his highly acclaimed manga, Hunter X Hunter. Since then, the Twitterverse has been in an uproar supporting the most prolonged hiatus for a manga to end slowly!
Many have been waiting for this moment to come true, with fake news about manga and anime returning evergreen. It would have seemed like it would never come true after four years of radio silence from the mangaka. The love and following for Hunter X Hunter have even grown during those lost years. The new generation of anime viewers have stumbled upon the anime and some have even ventured into the manga. To see that they will not have to wait so long to see this manga complete and the legacy of this masterful story inch forward.
While we have seen only two posts from Yoshihiro Togashi, it still gives us the thrill to see this happening. However, while happiness has come forward, there is worry. Yoshihiro Togashi has had severe back conditions before that had first put him into this four-year hiatus. We understand how grueling it is to be a mangaka, to create these gorgeous stories for the fans that have grown to love them.
There have been many mangakas who have fallen ill while pushing themselves to keep drawing and creating their stories for us. The support we can give to our favorite mangakas is to stand with them when they do need to step back and take care of themselves. While we cannot wait for the next four chapters of Hunter X Hunter, we hope that Yoshihiro Togashi is staying healthy and taking care of himself. We will be waiting once these chapters come out and are tied into a tank?bon.
