Skybound revealed that another Autobot will make an appearance in Void Rivals, the series which launched the current Energon Universe. May’s Void Rivals #9 is set to feature Springer, the transformer with the distinction of being a triple changer. The series, written by Robert Kirkman with art by Lorenzo De Felici, colors by Mateus Lopes, and lettering by Rus Wooton, ended its first arc with a massive cliffhanger that hinted to the larger universe, and March’s issue seven resumes the sci-fi exploration of the cosmos.
Along with the announcement, Skybound also released a first look at Lorenzo De Felici & Matheus Lopes‘s cover of issue nine, which can be seen below.
