Avengers: Doomsday Trailer, X-Men Cast Announcement, VisionQuest Trailer and more! — Everything that happened for Marvel during D23

The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, D23, is happening in Anaheim, California from August 14th to 16th; the first large-scale panel, the Disney Entertainment Showcase, happened this Friday and brought news from Disney and Pixar productions. Here is a recap of all things Marvel related that happened on the panel — be aware that it features spoilers for productions such as Spiderman: Brand New Day and X-Men ‘97

The event happened after the widely expected Jean Grey debut in theatres in late July. With fans speculating about castings for the upcoming X-Men movie, the probability of a new Avengers: Doomsday trailer and more character confirmations, there were huge expectations for D23

1. VisionQuest:

Kevin Feige took the stage and started with VisionQuest updates, alongside Paul Bettany, who plays Vision, and James Spader, who will reprise his role as Ultron. They released the first phenomenal trailer for the television series to be released on October 14; the show is ‘the final vision of the groundbreaking trilogy’ that features characters introduced in Wandavision. A new poster for the series was also released, which mimics the retro television glitches featured in Wandavision posters.

Hugh Jackman appeared on stage to say he ‘would love to join’ the cast of Avengers: Doomsday, and Ryan Reynolds’ voice was also featured in the background when agreeing with Jackman’s request.

2. Avengers: Doomsday:

Robert Downey Jr. entered the stage to introduce the new Avengers: Doomsday teaser. The same footage was previously shown during San Diego Comic Con, and now it was released online simultaneously.

The trailer features some of the most remarkable lines in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which also set the tone and storyline for the upcoming movie, including:

As much as I loved the first Doomsday trailer, this one surpasses it on every level possible — it truly seems to be the most significant piece of content in the MCU since Endgame. The dialogue and character interactions showcased are flawless; it truly makes the universe make sense in a way that seemed impossible two years ago.

3. X-Men:

The release date for the new X-Men movie panel was also disclosed — May 5th 2028 is now highly anticipated. Kevin Feige invited Sadie Sink, our Jean Grey, to introduce the new X-Men cast. Below, there is a list with the actors invited and their characters:
