Skybound revealed a first look at the upcoming G.I. Joe #7, a standalone mission that starts the next arc of the series. The issue features a creative team of writer Joshua Williamson, artist Andrea Milana, colorist Lee Loughridge, and letterer Rus Wooton. Focusing on a covert operation being run by Night Force, the issue is set to introduce a new Joe to the Energon Universe, Beach Head.
In the press release, executive editor Ben Abernathy spoke about the introduction of the character, stating:
“Beach Head is one of the most beloved G.I. JOE characters and it’s exciting to finally debut him alongside the return of the mysterious Night Force. He’s just the tip of the iceberg for what’s to come in the issue and the larger arc, though, and best of all is having Andrea and Lee back again in the Energon Universe!”
