Carlos Ezquerra, 2000AD Alum and Judge Dredd Co-Creator, Passes at 70

Carlos Ezquerra, co-creator of Judge Dredd (along with writer John Wagner) passes after a lung cancer diagnosis.

Ezquerra was incredibly prolific over his nearly 50 years in the industry, but will undoubtedly be remembered for his many contributions to 2000 AD and British comics in general. Ezquerra also paired with fellow 2000 AD alumni, Garth Ennis, penciling the Preacher: Good Old Boys one-shot in 1997. Ezquerra is mourned by many in the industry whose lives he has touched. Rest in Power, Carlos.
