Funding Goal: $10,000
Days Left: 12

SUPERPOSITION was the band’s first and only album, and this anthology gives its themes a second life through visual storytelling. Rather than focusing only on loss, the project is about growth, memory, and the strange, beautiful process of becoming someone new after everything changes. Supporting this campaign helps turn the music into something tangible and lasting—a book that carries those emotions forward.

For fans of The Crow, Sandman, My Chemical Romance, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, gothic and supernatural coming of age stories.

The SUPERPOSITION Anthology is a collection of gothic and emotional short comics inspired by the band’s first and only album, SUPERPOSITION. Each story explores themes of lost identity, innocence, dreams, and the fragile sense of safety that comes with youth, told through supernatural, symbolic, and character-driven narratives.

The album was completed with band members Alex Devill and Kate Panik, but released after their passing, giving the music a deeper and more reflective meaning. This anthology expands those themes into visual storytelling, acting as a companion piece that honors the spirit of the album while standing on its own. With your support, we can bring this collection of artists and stories to life.

Nexus: The Battle for Thuneworld Hardcover by Steve Rude

Current Funding: $56,773
Funding Goal: $40,000
Days Left: 7
Link: www.steverude.com/ThuneworldAE

Jack Kirby, the legend who co-created Captain America and the Fantastic Four, called Steve Rude “the future of comics.” Four Eisner Awards later, he’s still proving Kirby right.

This is Nexus: The Battle for Thuneworld, a 324-page oversized hardcover art book at 12 × 17 inches (30 × 43 cm), nearly as large as a newspaper page.

It pairs the finished full-color story pages with the original pencils, inks, and the stages in between. You can read the story and see exactly how Steve built every page.

Many oversized artist editions focus on scans of the original black-and-white boards. This book also includes the finished full-color pages, so you can follow every stage of how Steve builds a page, from first sketch to final art.
At $149, you’re getting 324 pages of finished color, pencils, inks, and process. Most books in this format give you a fraction of that and none of them include the color.

Never read Nexus before? Start here. Battle for Thuneworld is written to stand completely on its own, while still giving longtime readers plenty to dig into.

It also marks something special in Nexus history: Steve Rude’s first fully solo Nexus story, written and drawn by Steve from start to finish.

Whether you’ve followed Nexus since issue one or you’re discovering Steve’s work right now, welcome to Rude Dude Studios. Pull up a chair and enjoy the ride.

KILLER COSPLAY Graphic Novel

When a serial killer is loose at Comic Con, dressing up in cosplay can be murder!

Current Funding: $3,170
Funding Goal: $3,000
Days Left: 6

Lucas Tanaka has returned to his hometown to promote his wildly successful independent comic at the local comic convention. There may even be something big he’ll be announcing while he’s there that most comic creators only dream of, and all his friends will be on hand to support him. But what happens when a serial killer starts praying on fans dressed as the lead character from Lucas’s comic? Will old friendships withstand creative differences? Can Lucas figure out what is going on? Will any of his friends make it out of comic con alive? Find out in this horror-who-done-it. The only thing we know for sure is at this comic con, dressing up in cosplay can be murder.

Killer Cosplay is the brainchild of John Marroquin and Tony Miello. As lifelong horror movie fans, we often spent the time at comic conventions talking about our favorite slasher films. In 2024 that conversation became “What if a slasher movie took place at a comic con?” and the idea for Killer Cosplay was born. In the months that followed we spent our time not just outlining the story but creating our own horror universe. With this Kickstarter we hope to bring that universe to you.

Within the world of Killer Cosplay, independent comics are a driving force in entertainment. Two comic books in particular, The Curse of the Hangman and Extinction Event, are so popular they are becoming pop culture juggernauts. We became so excited about these comic ideas that we decided to create them as well.

As you know, an idea is just a thought in your head until it is acted on and becomes tangible. By supporting this Kickstarter you will be helping us make our idea real. You will be able to get this book months before Source Point Press releases it to retailers, and once funded, The Curse of the Hangman (by Tony Miello and John Marroquin), and Extinction Event (by Nick Miello and Logan Bennett) will be unlocked as stretch goals for this campaign.

Runaway to the Stars by Jay Eaton

Alien, trans-species foster Talita has enough to deal with on the scrapworld of Dirtball. And the sly, crimey A.I. Bip isn’t helping!

Current Funding: $78,865
Funding Goal: $10,000
Days Left: 26

Welcome to RUNAWAY TO THE STARS, a 360-page, black-and-white, hard sci-fi graphic novel adventure!

Talita, a socially anxious Centaur aerospace engineer and cross-species foster kid, has always had trouble connecting with anyone other than sentient A.I. beings. So when she discovers a damaged Centaur spaceship in the Ixion Recycling Plant’s salvage yard with a pirate AI onboard named Bip, she’s inevitably drawn into helping it escape the planet of Dirtball. But her two human friends, Idrisah and Gillie, aren’t about to let her commit crimes on behalf of a shady AI… Not without their help, of course!

Runaway to the Stars is a hard science fiction, slice-of-life story focused on communication, a search for belonging, and everyday life in a co-species future. At once intriguingly alien and painfully familiar, this singular graphic novel is a testament to the fact that our all-too-human faults and anxieties are universal concerns, no matter your point of origin!

One of the things that makes Runaway to the Stars great is Jay’s attention to the complexities of communication. We have Gillie, a genetically-modified human who is Deaf, forced to deal with clunky and ineffective tech in her efforts to communicate. Idrisah, a professional xenolinguist, can communicate with double-larynxed alien Avians, but can’t fluently speak in either of her family’s languages. And Talita, whose social anxiety and fear of inconveniencing others gets her taken advantage of, despite her towering height and fearsome appearance.

This story is for everyone who’s ever felt displaced, othered, or unheard, and every reader that loves a good sci-fi story, intrigued by what secrets a sentient pirate AI might be hiding. Because Bip, the pilot of The Runaway, is definitely not telling Talita everything about what happened to the ship’s now-deceased Centaur crew, or what mission they might have been on! But despite Bip’s shady past, the AI is a charmer, and quickly gets not only Talita, but Gillie and her wife Idrisah on board to help secretly repair the ship and file the flight plan.

My Name Is LADY issue #1-2

Laura and Lillian are back!

Current Funding: $491
Funding Goal: $1,500
Days Left: 15
This Kickstarter campaign is primarily focused on funding Issue #2, but Issue #1 is still available for readers who want to experience the beginning of Laura and Lillian’s story.
My Name Is Lady follows Laura, a young woman who has recently moved in with her 95-year-old grandmother, Lillian, after the passing of her grandfather. What starts as a practical decision quickly becomes something heavier. Laura steps into the role of caretaker—managing daily routines, offering companionship, and slowly realizes that caring for someone else can erase parts of yourself if you’re not careful.
As Laura settles into her grandmother’s home, she begins to uncover long-buried family secrets—truths Lillian never expected to share, and revelations that catch Laura completely off guard. The past refuses to stay quiet, especially in a world where superheroes exist and extraordinary lives often hide behind ordinary doors.
Set against a backdrop of superhuman figures and larger-than-life legends, My Name Is Lady is an intimate, grounded story about very human struggles. Its core themes are aging and loss of identity—what it means to grow old, to be remembered, and to redefine yourself when the roles you once held no longer fit.

No Heroine: Second Chances – The Complete Series

She fought her worst demons…now she’s fighting everyone else’s.

Current Funding: $1,895
Funding Goal: $3,500
Days Left: 17

Kayla Vasquez is a recovering heroin addict making amends the hard way: by slaying every demon, monster, and supernatural nightmare that crosses her path. She’s not doing it because she’s brave. She’s doing it because she owes the world one

Think Buffy the Vampire Slayer meets Jessica Jones — punk rock, street level, and unflinching. No Heroine is a story about fighting demons. The real ones and the ones that don’t go away when the sun comes up.

By the end of Part 1, everything Kayla thought she knew has been blown open.

The missing witch? It’s Jordan — the very person she was hired to find. The investigation wasn’t leading her toward the villain. It was the villain.

And then, before she can even process that gut-punch — Mama comes back.

Kayla has been carrying her mother’s death like a wound that never closed. Grief, guilt, the kind of loss that doesn’t get easier — just quieter. And now, through a chain of events nobody planned and nobody’s prepared for, Mama is back. Accidentally resurrected. Very much real.

yla has to figure out what to do about Jordan — someone who is simultaneously a victim, a threat, and a person who deserves saving. She has to stop a witch who has gone fully off the rails. And she has to figure out what it means that her mother — the woman she’s been grieving, the ghost at the center of everything she’s been running from — is standing right in front of her.

Second chances. The title isn’t an accident.

Another 48 pages. More action. More mess. More Kayla doing the wrong things for the right reasons and somehow, maybe, finding her way through.

In a world where heroes wear capes and villains lurk in every shadow, one relentless Latina anti-hero dares to defy the darkness. Meet CHINGONA, a force of unbridled fury and unrelenting determination, driven by a burning question that haunts her every step: what really happened to her mother, the legendary superhero who vanished without a whisper? As CHINGONA navigates the treacherous underbelly of the superhero world, she’s met with indifference, corruption, and brutal violence.
But she refuses to be silenced. With a sharp wit and a fiercer edge, CHINGONA carves her own path, leaving a trail of shattered expectations and unanswered questions in her wake. Join her on a heart-pounding, laugh-out-loud, music-fueled ride, where the stakes are high, the humor is dark, and the adventure is just beginning.
For too long, the stories of Latina superheroes have been relegated to the sidelines, their voices silenced, and their experiences marginalized. CHINGONA shatters this glass ceiling, offering a powerful narrative that reflects the resilience, strength, and complexity of Latino women. This story is a love letter to the mujeres who’ve been told they’re not enough, who’ve fought to be seen and heard in a world that often overlooks them. Through CHINGONA’s journey, we’ll explore themes of identity, family, and the unbreakable bonds of community, all set against the vibrant backdrop of Latin culture. By supporting this project, you’re helping to amplify a voice that’s long overdue – one that will inspire, uplift, and empower a generation of Latinas to reclaim their narratives and unleash their inner CHINGONA.
